Welcome to my Aviation Photo Album. I have gathered over more than 40 years a large number of photographs taken at various events, mainly Air Shows and aerospace museums.

All pictures taken before 2004 are scanned from 35mm slides. The cameras I have used are a Nikkormat Ftn and a Nikon FA with lenses up to 300mm, the film usually was Ekthachrome 64 or 200.

Over the years I have used different scanners, including a Nikon Coolpix III, A Canon CanoScan 9000F and a Reflecta Digitdia 6000.

I have long resisted the change to digital cameras and when I finally gave up it had to be a Nikon again, this time a D70. I currently use a lighter D3300.

I use occasionally Photoshop mainly to adjust framing and improve the pictures, but I never edit them significantly.

I have decided that the best use I could do of my collection was to share it with other people who may be interested.

There is no watermark or logo on the pictures, please feel free to use them within the limits of the licence, i.e. acknowledge me as the original author and do not use them for commercial purposes.

I have organized dedicated albums to cover a single aircraft type or event, but when I upload older pictures I am not following any specific criteria.
