After living in the New York metropolitan area for close to 50 years most of my family moved out to America's heartland.

I first bought a Canon Powershot 100 when it first came out. I loved the small size, which allowed me to carry it more often than my old Minolta SLR.

Recently I upgraded to a Powershot 850D IS. The large screen and icons make it easy for me to see without my peepers.

However this camera was lost by one of my beloved children. Now I have a new Canon Point Sd780IS, which I like to carry around regularly due to its portability.

I have recently added the Nikon D60 to my armory on the recommendation of a good Flickr friend. I am only beginning to scratch the surface of it's capabilities.

I have thoroughly enjoy the 100 Strangers group, and invite you to begin the project.

I also have a vast array of post office photos, with over 1,500,000 views at www.postalmag.com/gallery/showmembers.php

What do you get when two former Hudson County (NJ) folks meet through Flickr? Lively banter, lots of laughs, plenty of ribbing and instant friendship! 'Cause you can take the guy or the gal out of Hudson but you can't take Hudson out of us - that's for sure! Clark Westfield, the-photographer-formerly-known-as "Guy as in G" (loved that moniker) is one of my favorite people. Greg, now with a Nikon D60 in hand, takes outstanding photos of trains. He captures the transformation of an Iowa cornfield, something I follow with great delight each year, and he fascinates me with his growing gallery of 100 Strangers, which will soon reach its goal! A devoted family man, he is a pleasure to know and someone whose visits to my photostream are always welcome and appreciated...

I love how Guy as in Gee isn't afraid to start talking to people. It's making his 100 strangers project a heck of a lot better than mine. Keep Shooting! Please!
