I always knew that I enjoyed Clarity's photostream, but, didn't realize just how much I looked forward to her pictures until one day she didn't upload. She was gone for a while and I just kept hoping she would come back. Her photos are compelling in and of themselves, but, to give them extra flavor her writing skills are excellent. She draws you in with her prose and camera skills and once you're in, you're hooked!

How do you start a testimony for someone like Clarity25? Her photography is simple, yet interesting, very artistic and refreshing. Her words? Very well versed. Her personality? So warm, loving, and no doubt she's a fun person. Her random questions makes us open up stories of our lives in her photos comments. Just like she opens up her life, and yet she covers her face :-) That is why I keep coming back to her photostream - it's very addictive! just like reading a book and you want to know what's going to happen next. And maybe one day we can see 3/4 of her face :-) All in all, she's a great artist - not only that, she's a great person.

Something strange is going on here. Clarity's style and mine are, in many ways, antithetical. Our ways of framing are different; our emotional approaches to photography are way different; our titles, our notes, our comments all seem to come from nearly opposite ends of the spectrum. So why do I find her work so compelling? I could blather about "keeping open to different influences" or other such tripe but that wouldn't get near the truth. The plain fact is: she makes good pictures.

In my humble opinion the greatest thing about clarity and her photostream is that she finds art and beauty, fun and laughter, and sorrow and pain, just as we all do, but presents it to the viewer in a way which is unique and clever and only she is adept enough to decipher. In my humble opinion the greatest thing about clarity and her photostream is that she finds art and beauty, fun and laughter, and sorrow and pain, just as we all do, but presents it to the viewer in a way which is unique and clever and only she is adept enough to decipher. Her lens does not filter life and present a sterile instant in time, rather it intensifies its world view and brings the viewer to a higher level of thought, perspective and understanding. I feel that even if she had no following the stream would be the same; she unselfishly posts for herself and it is we who have the luxury of reaping its benefits. So I applaud you clarity and eagerly wait for your next posting.
