Hello! I am a 3rd year graduate student in Ceramics at Ohio University, originally from Atlanta, GA. In my former life I was a middle school art teacher one of those office people in a cubicle.

My flickr is a collection of past work, new explorations, and ongoing projects. I sort of use it as a blog because I am old-fashioned and although I use it, tumblr confuses me.

I am interested in exploring the intersections, bizarre mash-ups, and just plain wrong combinations of one, more, or all of the following things: kitsch, camp, cats, crafts, high art, thrift stores, self-aware and self-deprecating hipster triangles, star trek, science fiction, esoteric cosmologies, film, television, sitcoms, material, process, new age mysticism, bullshit, EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS, yarn, hot pink, sandra bernhard, julie brown, and jeri blank.
