My photography has 4 major focus areas;

1) Snaps of family for grandma and others

 

2) Capturing kids in sports (may taken using my equipment by other parents) and publish for all families

 

3) Sr. Portraiture for clients when I have time.

 

4) My kaizen in photography, my pursuit for perfection in the art that is photography. My attempts at this are pleasing and rewarding. Check out my evolving work in this area.

My personal favorites are photos that somehow evoke some sort of strange emotional response for me and photos that contain unique color shading and contour.

I currently shoot with the following equipment:

Nikon D300 (best camera I've ever owned, better than F5)

Nikon SB-800 (Must Have)

Nikon 18-200mm 3.5-4.5 (best all around lense)

Nikor 85mm, 1.8 (my fav for portraits)

Nikor 80-200, 2.8 (good portraits but heavy)

Nikon 28 -70 2.8 (in the shop with bad motor)

Sigma 28-200mm, 3.5-4.5 (cheep, light, and uses hart of lens)

I'm a geek by trade for a Fortune 100, love the gear and struggle to get in touch with my artistic side. I know what I like and strive to attain that vision.
