I've been fascinated with photography since I was given my first Kodak Instamatic when I was six years old. Since then, I've spent an untold number of hours peering through a lens and seeing the results in the darkroom.

With the advent of digital photography, which I resisted for many years, I had the opportunity to merge my love of photography with my Computer Science training. In addition, I've been able to take a lot more photographs without having to worry about the cost of film, development, and printing.

Outside of photography, I'm University educated with degrees in Foreign Languages and Literature as well as Computer Science. I'm married to Marcie with two children, Dana and Kathryn. The three of them have gotten used to having a camera around.
