The power of Cornelius' train photos can be attributed to the fact the he always tries to make his subjects part of the environment and scenery. Unless there is a particular railroad car or locomotive he wants information on or pass it on to his audience, traditional 3/4 images are not his style. Maybe that's why his photo do not only shine here on Flickr, but at several times have been featured as a two page spreads in Dutch railroad magazines and can be found in several publications.
