I'm new to digital photography of this kind. Sure, I've taken holiday snaps, but I have'nt taken anything 'serious' since I had a Nikon 501 back in 88.

When my mother passed away Christmas 07 I decided to use my inheritance on a Nikon D300 and lenses. I had a lot of help from a friend Richard to get all the right stuff and I'm now trying to learn how to use it.

I live in Merthyr Tydfil in the South Wales valleys.

Update. In 2013 I moved to barnard Castle with my family. I now also own a D7100 and had my D300 converted to Infra Red. At this moment, nearly all the pictures I take are HDR.
