I first met Chris when I commented on one of his vintage WWII photos. I hadn't known it then, but it was a serendipitous moment, for I made a great literary find... Chris Mellows possesses both a masterful command of the English language and the gift of perfect expression. His work, both prose and poetry, are lyrical and sensitive - as are the images they accompany. Add to that the fact that he is also blessed with charm and extremely good looks, this gentleman with the poet's soul is the modern day's version of Byron... and I am lucky enough to be his friend...
