My cameras include:

* Nikon D40x DSLR (used by my wife now)

* Nikon D90 DSLR (my precious!)

My software of choice is:

* Photoshop CS4, Lightroom 3

* PTGUI (for panorama stitching)

* PTLens (corrects lens distortion as a PS plugin)

* Topaz programs (tonemapping and HDR effects)

I consider myself a hobby photographer. I have never been paid to take pictures, nor do I seek to be.

Professionally, I setup and run webserver farms at NCSU on Apache and Linux. I also do a lot of internal web program development, mostly in Perl.
