Hi, i'm CJ (my surname is Rich), welcome to my Flickr page!

I first fell in love with trains when I was 11 years old whilst growing up in Yorkshire. I was fortunate to travel the length and breadth of the country during my teenage years thanks to my Dad who lovingly supported (and endured) my hobby. I only wish I'd had a digital camera back then as the memories are fading and I was limited to one 36 exposure roll of film for each trip; developing was expensive! :)

In 2016 I got back into railway photography when a change of career saw me moving to Berkshire and I treated myself to a new Canon. Once again I am travelling the country looking for new and interesting locations and unusual workings. It is safe to say that railway photography is my absolute passion.

Across my pages you will see scans of photos from my teenage years which cover the early to mid 80s (when I can get round to scanning a few more of them) and my modern digital stuff which is pretty much anything I can get these days.
