My purpose in creating this Flickr site is to create a virtual museum dedicated to the textile arts (especially of Latin America) and folk art and crafts from around the world. This museum is free and is "open" at all times so people from around the world can see and enjoy these objects of interest and great beauty. Thank you for visiting the museum

I love your website! I especially loved the photos of the dolls wearing the different Mexican clothing of Mexico. I found one on RubyLane and had to buy it. I will be going to Mexico City for the first time in October. Do you know where the doll exhibit is housed? Thanks!

El alma de México brilla en la obra fotográfica de Karen, que hasta un nombre azteca ha escogido: Teyacapan, Primogénito. Es un honor que una dama con alma tan bella se tome el tiempo de atisbar y difundir el arte de mi Patria. Gracias, amiga. Y adelante.

she is blessed to have a job like that and to see so much beauty everyday. I thank her for sharing her photos with all of us. Peasants art is real art and we must help it survive.
