The Committee of Interns and Residents (CIR) is the country’s oldest and largest housestaff union, representing more than 13,000 resident physicians in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Florida, Washington, D.C., California, New Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

CIR/SEIU Healthcare is the voice for housestaff around the country. Through organizing, collective bargaining and political action, we are able to stand up for ourselves and our patients.
