I began dabbling in photography several years ago with a Pentax ME Super film camera... sold that and bought a guitar. Then realized I'm a better photographer than a guitarist, which admittedly, probably isn't saying much either way. :)

I settled for a Canon A630 point-n-shoot at first, and used it to record travels in Europe, and now have a Canon EOS Rebel T3i with two Sigma lenses - 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it all, and my photos probably reflect that.

Flickr, for me, was originally a place simply to organize my photos. It's inadvertently taught me a few things about how incredibly beautiful the world is, and how many different ways there are to interpret that beauty.

It's also shown me there are some very talented photographers at work.
