I am a beginning watercolorist. I began sketching even as a little girl and have always enjoyed it. I've also taken up photography and birding. My paintings are first tries at practicing with the medium of watercolor and watercolor pencil. I've attended 6 watercolor classes with an excellent instructor. Now I am applying "self study" to continue the learning process. I've checked out some great books on watercolor techniques from the library and I'm learning a lot. So far, I enjoy painting flowers and birds. I'm trying to like painting landscapes.
