I live in Derbyshire in the centre of England not far from the very beautiful Peak District National Park. This area is classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty and is full of photographic opportunities. I was born in Lincolnshire where my ancestors were all farmers and my heart and soul sing when I'm in the countryside. I feel very lucky to live close to such stunning and wild scenery and absolutely love it, and could now never live anywhere else.

I enjoy long country walks and cycle rides, and at home husband and I are both keen gardeners. I also love to cook, to sew and to knit and just enjoy being creative. I have found that producing things with your own hands is a very rewarding and satisfying joy that no one should underestimate in this very fast paced digital world of ours.
