Hello! My name is Kerry and I am an obsessive reader, knitter, music lover, and jewelry designer from Long Island, NY.

After being laid off from my job as an Executive Assistant, I decided to go back to school to study literature with an eye towards becoming an English teacher. I also decided to open my Etsy store, Ciarrai Studios where I sell hand-knit items as well as handcrafted jewelry – often inspired by my favorite books, poems, and other literature.

Ciarrai (which is pronounced K-ear-ra – rhymes with Cheer-a) is the Gaelic version of my name, Kerry. This name represents my pride and fascination with my Celtic heritage and is a tribute to my grandfather who passed down a love of Celtic music, mythology, and history to me.

My interests include: Reading, Knitting, Photography, Jewelry Design, Music and Musical Theater, Renaissance Fairs, and Board Games.
