MAYONGA is my pseudonym. Is the name I invented at the age of three when asked me for my doll’s name, so I adopted it as a pseudonym when I started to design and to make social and political critics. However, when this happened I realized, this name is a location in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so I’m honored to this happy coincidence.

The photo captures I make are without location labels. My Photography is fresh, fun, sweet, full of little details, and for sure with many mistakes too. My photos tell the stories of a girl who lives in any big city in the world, that relates a simply / complicated day by day life, with the little joys in the beauty of a flower, or a great meal, or a good clear sky. So, you will find pictures love made with a regular digital camera or if I don’t have battery or camera -nearby-, with my smartphone. Also you will see many compositions from my point of view as a Designer. Ahh! and a lot pictures of Bambina, my pet.

I like to make long comments and analogies about the pictures. I like great good intelligent humor and going beyond the picture, with good manners and language.

I Don’t like obviously, neither bad taste or immature comments nor short quick “technical” comments just for appearing in Flickr.

I believe in courtesy, civility, decency. I like to take my time to respond to good comments with smart ideas, good sense of humor, and fine feedback as well. If that contributes to make a better photograph concept, even better. Sometimes I will enter very quickly and comment very fast your photos, this is because I’m online. Other times, I will be a little bit late in comment your recently uploads or answer to yours, that’s because my work at my design studio is 24/7 and I can’t respond as soon as I wish. My apologies in advance. I can respond your comments in English, Italian, French, or Castiglian.
