Definitely ,Solar has long been one of my favs here.I love his photos and many of them just like a scene in the film.The mood and sensibility attached in the pictures and his sophisticated use of light and angles can always make his pictures stand out.I think,the other critical reason is that he's well aware of what's around him and instinctively discover the beauties around and shoot. I JUST LOVE THEM.
Read lessI don't know anything about Solar Ikon other than what his photographs have told me. And that is that he has a deeply perceptive eye and a quick hand to match. The result is penetrating photography full of insight and sensitivity. A favourite here on Flickr.
Simply put -- Solar Ikon is consistently one of my top 5 favorite photographers on Flickr. I've clicked on every shot he's uploaded and will continue to do so. I always look forward to his dripping-wet evening city scapes, low-light shots...and his thoughtful and/or funny captions. He's a playa and a king.
