Most of the photos seen here are by Chuck Zeiler, some are photos I acquired by purchase or trade. I grew up with my uncle who was a signal maintainer for the C&NW, then my mother moved me to Naperville, Illinois where I spent my teen years next to CB&Q Zephyrs. I went away to college (gap in my train photography through the 1970's), and then held various jobs, some of which provided travel to interesting locations, where I picked up railroad photography again (at my various employers' expense), then to self-employment in Arkansas, for photography at my own expense.
