I grew up on a cattle ranch in Siskiyou County, CA. This experience inspired my book, LIFE AT THE END OF A DIRT ROAD which is a largely humorous account of growing up on the far side of the ranch. Much of my photography is from this beautiful part of California.

I am currently retired after 34 years in law enforcement and pursuing a long standing interest in photography. I approach photography as an art form. My favorite subjects are nature and wildlife but I have a wide interest in other photographic subjects. I see nature as the product of an awesome Creator not as the end result of an expanding gas cloud after a distant Big Bang. I try to be creative when I take a picture and again when I take my images into my digital darkroom. I enjoy sharing and selling my work.
