I recently got back into photography after a hiatus of many years. I love animals and nature, so they tend to be my favorite photography subjects. Patiently hunting for the perfect shot is great therapy after a stressful week.....

I live in Orlando, Florida but grew up in Boston and on Cape Cod. My wife is from Thailand and we spend quite a bit of time there, where we have a second home that we plan to retire to some day.

I have lived in the Philippines and Thailand - 2 of the most beautiful places on earth. I speak Thai, Tagalog and Spanish with varying degrees of fluency......

I do very little post processing. Usually my PhotoShop work is limited to cropping, restoring contrast and saturation, and some unsharp mask to restore fine details, since I prefer to keep my in-camera sharpening turned off.

What can I say about Chuck's work, other than the obvious? It is always extremely polished and refined - something i would expect to see in National Geographic. His animal portraits are some of the best I have ever seen and it is evident that he has a deep love for the animal kingdom. The quality of each portrait is testament that Chuck has an exuberant amount of patience and passion for photography.
