I started off on Flickr with a Nikon D40 with 55mm lens and 70-300 lens that I purchased in 2008. I quickly upgraded to a Nikon D80 with a 18-200 VR lens. I damaged the new lens many years later so I eventually bought another Nikkor 18-300mm VR lens in 2017. In 2020 after years of depression I decided to invest in another camera because my old D80 was not performing well and it only provided 10.1 Megapixels. I decided to take a chance and upgrade with the hope I would be inspired to take more photographs so I bought a Nikon D7200 w/ 18-200mm VR lens. I packed away the 18-200 and I've been using my previous 18-300 VR lens. All photos that are not for personal use I make available to anyone for creative common use. My photos have been used on more than 300 websites. I do not charge and I don't require anyone to include my name in the credits but it is appreciated. I work full time as an access control technician and fabricator. I take photos in my spare time or while driving between jobs. You will notice that many of my photos are related to candid street photography. I take most my shots from my vehicle. I don't have any formal training. I do use Photoshop and I've watched a few videos to help me learn a few tricks. My early work I would consider to be terrible. I over used filters and over the years I've gone back and edited those photos. Many still remain. I take care of my mom and brother who do not work and are in need of constant health services. I was involved in a bike accident more than 20 years ago where I went head first through the rear window of a parked car. My health isn't great. I'm in a lot of pain every day. Pain level is about a 7 and I imagine it will only get worse as I get older. I'm currently 52 years old as of 11/21/2020. I'm single and live in Los Angeles.
