Chris van Schravendijk
Drag to set position!
Retired university scientist and teacher. Photography enthusiast since 5 decades, Leica photographer since 1980. Main interests are landscape, nature, cityscape and macro, sometimes a car or an unusual reflection. I have a natural habit to project a multitude of spheres and styles and enjoy the diversity rather than the monoculture in photography. I also have an interest in finding mathematical structure in my photo’s and initiated a group around that theme. I am also keen in exporting the great culinary tradition of slow food to photography; if you look a little longer, you see so much more. This means that the narrative, the story, behind a photo also needs some attention. I do an effort to write a title for each photo (give the child a name before it travels into the world) and sometimes some background information. Last but not least, I am quite keen in printing my favourite images and have optimised several of my favourite images for larger print. I am very grateful for comments about the photos and see myself as an eternal learner.
My photos can not be used for any purposes/publications without my knowledge. Contact me with any proposals if appropriate.
