I am a retired medical editor, as well as an author, historian, photographer, artist, and poet. I was born on January 10, 1948 at Liverpool Maternity Hospital, Oxford Street, Liverpool - John Lennon was born there October 9, 1940. I emigrated with my parents to the United States in 1955, settling in Baltimore, Maryland. I returned to the UK to go to school in Liverpool in the Sixties, attending Rose Lane and Quarry Bank schools. I re-emigrated to the United States in August 1968 and am currently a resident of Newark, Delaware, USA. I am a published author and speaker on the War of 1812, the American Revolution, Maryland history, Edgar Allan Poe, the Whitechapel murders and the Beatles and Liverpool history. I am a former moderator at www.yoliverpool.com/forum/, a past editor at Ripperologist magazine, and a former editor of Loch Raven Review. I am a moderator on the Babilu poetry forum pochapocha.com/babilu3/ and a board member at the Eastern Shore Writers Association (ESWA) easternshorewriters.org/.
