Christopher James is currently an architect and computational designer at AI. SpaceFactory in New York City. He holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, and is a licensed architect in New York state. His academic and professional focus has been verticality, and how it affects the lives of those living and/or working in tall buildings.

Previously, he has worked for the New York City and London offices of KPF as a designer and urban information modeler, and the Chicago offices of SOM and Cannon Design as a designer. He is also creator and founder of the World Architecture Map (WAM), an online building database that maps and tags relevant architecture around the world.
