Christopher Bolte is a young uprising Jazz-Bassist, producer and composer from Osnabrück - Germany. He is active in almost any style of music you can think of from Jazz to Rock, from Electronica to Hip Hop...

Born in Bückeburg - Germany in 1992, Christopher started making music at the age of 4 and had his first music lessons (including musical pre-school and Keyboard lessons) at 5 years of age.

Soon, inspired by pieces of Modest Mussorgsky, he realised that he wanted to compose his own music and started composing and producing actively at the age of 11.

He then picked up the Drums and the Guitar aswell

until he found his main instrument, the Electric Bass at the age of 14.

Since then, a lot has changed. Way over 300 concerts with crowds counting up to 3000 people, an endorsement deal with Paul Lairat Basses and an ever growing schedule of gigs and studio sessions speaks for itself. Christopher is currently gigging actively in over a dozen musical projects from almost any style you can think of all around the nation.

In addition to that he won numerous awards and bandcontests.

Honourings include the sponsorship award for young composers in 2011 presented by the "Landesmusikrat NRW", the 7th place in the national finals of the T-Mobile band contest, first places in both NRW rounds of Emergenza NRW, special honourings for extraordinary musical services at the Gymnasium Adolfinum Bückeburg, a scholarship for the 31st international Jazz Workshop in Erlangen - Germany and many many more.

As a producer he is conducting his own studio "Timbre Recording Studios" in Bückeburg - Germany.

Currently he is studying Jazz-Bass at the Osnabrück College of Music (IFM) under the auspices of artists such as Arnd Geise (Nils Gessinger, San Glaser, Ulita Knaus etc.), Lars Duppler (Nils Wülker), Fay Claassen (u.a. WDR Bigband, Metropole Orchestra. Grammy Pre-nominee), Christoph Hillmann (Angelika Niescier, Nils Wolgram, etc.) and many more.
