I work in I.T. and have spent a large part of my life using only one side of my brain. Photography has become an opportunity for me to establish some mental symmetry and develop the other side. It is challenging and sometimes frustrating, but I have really enjoyed the journey so far.

Flickr is a great place to experiment, grow and share your work. I have been greatly inspired and helped by many people here and not just in terms of photography.
