Chris is a great contact. He uploads some great pictures from around Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Northumberand (and other places - he gets around). He often injects humour into his images, has witty captions and makes interesting observations. Whenever I've asked a question about where he took a photo or what post-processing he used he has always given a detailed and informative response. His advice on IR conversion in Photoshop even helped one of my photos get onto explore.

Chris is an ambassador for England. He shows the beauty of the land like very few do and pay tribute to his country with an infectious delight. His techniques always enhance his photos with subtlety and if I don't understand half of his vocabulary, the result is there to show that he is a great photographer. Last but not least, his stream is full of humour - as he probably is -and he faithfully comes and visits his contacts and write lovely and hilarious comments. I am glad to have him as a contact and though we never met, he is somehow familiar and it's always a refreshing pleasure to come around here.
