I’m a 63-year-old sports photographer based on the Wirral side of the River Mersey. I started off in photography over 40 years ago when my Mum & Dad bought my first decent camera, the superb Olympus Trip. From that day I was hooked, and progressed to my first SLR, the Olympus OM10. I have owned various other 35mm cameras, which of course became obsolete with the introduction of Digital Imaging.

Sports photography is what I prefer to photograph and I regularly shoot at Premiership and Championship football games for South Wales based sports photography agency, Andrew Orchard Sports Photography. My photos have been printed in most of the major national newspapers and websites.

My kit comprises of 4 Canon EOS 1dx, two EOS7d's, an EOS7d mk11 and a number of lenses including Canon 400mm f/2.8 mk2 and a 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon 50mm f/1.4 and Canon 24-70mm
