Due to a computer virus that somebody under different aliases is posting, no videos in comments, please and thank you. Only in Flickr Mail messages from those I have as contacts.

No Search The Best invites from anybody but an admin, please and thank you - I do not accept my photos going into pending mode for the new group.

No Frame BANGLADESH invites from anybody but an admin, please and thank you.

And no Top 20 group invites - those groups require you to be an Admin or Moderator and also require those groups at 20 photos - from 20 different people. Plus those groups end up Private.

I will not be accepting being in the Ya Gotta Start Somewhere group anymore. I've quit that group and removed my two items from there. I will keep the comments, though.

Top Favourites: Gardening, digital photography, the summertime, music, Christmas time, travel.

Least Favourites: Stormy weather, when it is really hot and humid, and the winter time except during Christmas and New Year's. And being blocked by people I've been nice to, including kiwibyrd (Janet), but glad she can comment on my photos since blocking only prevents you from saying anything on their photos and videos. In fact, I prefer to never, ever be blocked.

Cameras Now No Longer Used:

Olympus Camedia C-765 Ultra Zoom 4.0 megapixel digital point-and-shoot camera with 10-times optical zoom that can be converted to 14-times super zoom. Not used anymore due to what is more likely the battery charger (either the contacts where the battery goes, where the cord plugs in the back of the charger or the cord that goes in the back of the charger. 2) Sony Handycam DCR-SR62 digital camcorder with a built-in digital still camera feature and with the 25-times optical zoom. This is also not used anymore. Neither the Olympus nor the Sony are being sold as they are still technically mine.

Cameras Used:

1) Canon EOS Rebel T7 that came with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II standard zoom lens (this camera will be my main camera used for most of my photography). Added August 24th, 2020 while the T6i was away having shutter repair work done. 2) Canon EOS Rebel T6i that came with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM standard zoom lens (this camera will become the back-up to the T7 and will be used for some of my photography). Upgraded to that from the Canon EOS Rebel T1i on December 18th, 2016. 3) Back and selfie cameras in the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6-inch tablet. Tablet cameras get use sometimes for vacation photos (if any more vacations do happen) and for the odd at-home photos.

Additional Accessories For DSLR Cameras:

Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM telephoto zoom lens (kept from the T1i that was sold with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS standard zoom lens on December 20th, 2016; that lens now only gets used around home at focal lengths from 75mm to around 100mm due to the Err 01 message when trying to zoom in at focal lengths farther than around 100mm); Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM prime lens (added as a Christmas present on December 24th, 2014; my absolute favourite lens); Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.5.6 III DC telephoto zoom lens (takes over for the USM version of the 75-300mm lens that is now causing the Err 01 message when zooming in on that lens with either the T6i or the T7; DC stands for Direct Connect for the auto-focusing drive for the new telephoto zoom lens); and Foto & Tech Wired Remote Shutter Release to use when camera is on the tripod.

Camera Sometimes Used:

Brinno TLC Time-Lapse High Definition Video Camera (will be saving and uploading JPEGs of the time-lapse videos only - video uploading not possible due to always getting the Bonk! message.

I do my scanning of photos taken with film with the Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 4630 three-in-one that also prints and works as a photocopier.

Favourite Types Of Photography: Nature, Travel, Special Events and Occasions, Astrophotography, Boats and Ships.

When any of my flower photos are chosen as Admin Faves, it is very delightful. When none of my flower photos are chosen as Admin Faves, it is very disappointing.

This is how I feel when any of my flower photos are chosen as Admin Faves: :-)

This is how I feel when any of my flower photos are not chosen as Admin Faves: :'-(

One pet peeve is when the batteries in my cameras run low and battery chargers aren't nearby when on vacation. Another is when somebody refers me to Chris - I prefer either my username of Chrisser or my real first name of Christina. Another is when the Flower Factory or Flower Themes group provides a new theme that none of my photos will work for. Sometimes I don't even have photos of flowers or parts of flowers for any new theme and must wait until a theme that will work with my photos comes around. And I find it sad whenever somebody either blocks me or originally adds me as a contact or friend and then removes me from his/her contact listings.

Reminder to Flower Factory and Flower Themes: Photos that have been chosen as Admins Faves do not get removed and reposted. Only photos that have not been chosen as Admin Faves - and also not removed by the admins of those groups - do get removed and reposted if there are new themes that the photos originally posted for another theme and not chosen as Admins Faves or removed by the admins can work for those themes. And unless you have joined one of the flower groups I started, the minimum allowed Admin Faves for Flower Factory and Flower Themes to be allowed as one of my contacts under the Friends category is two.

The only Private groups I join are those where a contact of mine has invited me via FlickrMail.

Also, since ONLY the admins have permission to answer any questions by the members of Flower Factory, the main group page should be saying so to prevent such troubles. Also, I have decided NOT to post questions in Flower Factory's Members' Questions posts anymore. If you are going to be posting any links or photos to comments about my photos, I prefer photos in the Small size. If the photos option doesn't work, then substitute links if necessary.

You probably have noticed I always but a happy face at the end of the main comment in the comments box of photos of others and at the end of saying Thanks when others say nice comments on my photos or when the admins of groups like Flower Factory and Flower Themes choose my photos as Admin Faves. The happy face is just a polite expression. :-)

The Flickr Blog link has lots of excellent photos posted by the staff every single day.

Reminder: With the exception of Balloons And Fireworks, Lots Of Chickadees, Flower Close-Ups, Flower Photography and Daisy Type Flowers, the groups I originally started stay at the unlimited photo postings as long as I am still in those groups and as the original starting admin. That doesn't change until I am no longer able to be around. Also, I have posted Members' Questions topics in two of the groups I originally started, and those topics DO get answered by both the admins and members as long as I am still part of those groups and still as the original admin of those groups. Only any Admins' Questions posts would be only answered by admins. To the admins of Flower Themes: Keep up the excellent work you do in the Administration. And all admins of Flower Factory and Flower Themes, if they haven't done so, are welcome to add me to their contact listings. :-)

To groups that have weekly themes, no matter the daily limit: In addition to taking time from posting any photos where both flowers and buds were in the same photos to cool down, if a theme takes place and I don't have photos that fit a theme, I don't post, unless the Admins see photos that can be permitted.

All of my gardening is currently in Zone 5 of eastern Ontario, Canada, meaning I have to dig up all canna rhizomes, dahlia tuberous roots, and ranunculus tubers before the winter months. I also have to provide winter protection for my mini rosebushes, and I was supposed to protect my Double Delight rose last year, but forgot to, so it is no longer part of my life anymore.

My ancestors came from the Netherlands, Ireland and Scotland. There were a few that did immigrate from England eons ago.

Due to concerns and security reasons, I was told to remove my address. I did, but left Canada for the Country category. So anybody who has me on their contact listings, don't feel very bad about not seeing where my address is. I am also not to do any geo-tagging of photos taken at homes of family and friends anymore - just on my travels where I am not at a friend's home or a family member's home. Also, personal information like home addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers are not allowed to be posted for privacy and security reasons.

My best week as far as Admin Faves in Flower Factory are concerned: Clematis & Passion Flowers (August 5th to August 11th, 2008): Seven photos of mine were chosen as Admin Faves (previous high was six Admin Faves in one week three times!).

My worst weeks as far as Admin Faves in Flower Factory are concerned: Weeks that I could not provide flowers or did provide flowers but none were chosen.

Note: For flowers that are on a solid background colour, those are courtesy of modifications using Photoshop. I do not take photos of flowers where I've placed a solid coloured piece of cardboard. Same if I decided to make the background behind any insects one solid colour.

To those who have to leave the Flower Factory administration: It will be very sad to see you not being able to choose any of the photos I've posted to the group as Admin Faves after you leave and return to Member status, but it was fun when you were choosing Admin Faves.

Software Used For Photo Editing:

Adobe Photoshop Express for Android devices (latest version; only freebies used); Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for Android devices (again, latest version and only the freebies used); Microsoft Photos, Paint and Paint 3D that come with Windows 10; PhotoScape (the Windows 10 version); Ribbet (the download version; doesn't use the Adobe Flash Player that ended after December 31st, 2020).

Software No Longer Used: Microsoft Picture It Express 7.0 (no longer used after I had to replace my computer); InPixio 8.0 (only the freebies are used; then had to be removed due to Windows Defender claiming it to be suspicious); Sony Picture Motion Browser Version 2.0.06.13151 (for copying photos taken with digital camcorder now no longer used; also no longer used to copy photos from my DSLR's. DSLR photos now get added to the computer via File Explorer.

Photo Editing Websites Used: BeFunky, BigHugeLabs (formerly Flickr Toys), Designify, LoonaPix, LunaPic, Remove Background (for creating PNG items, and Ribbet (including the Ribbet Fly App that works like Photoshop).
