Hi there, I am Chris Renk and author of this profile.

I still looking into improving my skills in all fields of photography.

Currently, the main focus of my photographic work is the different aspects of landscape photography.

In 1993, I started with analogue photography, by buying a Nikon F70, along with some Sigma Lenses.

In 2006, I changed over to digital photography with a Nikon D200. Upon then, I decided to invest more in quality built lenses from Nikon.

In 2011 then the next step, the change over to full-frame photography, this time with a Nikon D700.

Photography is fascinating me because it sharpens your eyes for the beauty of life, nature and the urban environment.

By trying to frame it within photography, it makes you even thinking more about it.

For me, good photography is not about the level of technical perfection; it is about the amount of emotion and impression it shows.
