I come from a semi-obsessed camera family and have been taking it seriously for about a year since I got a G11. I wanted most of the features of a dslr with good image quality but in a portable kit. And am very pleased (except for video).

I enjoy photography experiments e.g. Powershot Color Accent / Bokeh manipulation / light graffiti / HDR and have just ordered some beginner strobist gear. And the G11 macro is rather good too, so enjoy using that for interesting depth of fields.
