Hello :)

I totally forgot about Flickr until someone asked me if I was still doing workshops for polymer clay techniques. Hmmm, where did that come from!

A life changing surgery put our lives on hold for a while and I did not have the energy to do anything. Eventually, I became stronger and craved doing something creative. It started with colouring, then mixed media journals, onto creating pet portraits in coloured pencil and painting landscapes in oils. As I have always had my hands in clay of some sort, it was only natural that I would end up doing ceramics. And here we are.. 13 years after the last polymer clay batch: our own little ceramics studio.

I make functional pottery and fun thoughtful gifts from our humble abode on the west coast of Scotland. There is nothing more calming and zen than having your hands in clay while listening to the sounds of nature and the snoring of our 2 lurchers. My soulmate is known to throw some really nice pots on the wheel when he is not doing his dayjob, walking our dogs in the hills or keeping me fed with delicious meals (potters tend to forget to eat while in the clay "zone")
