I've been a bit absent from Flickr. It's because I've moved...to Sudan!

Although I put up photos and descriptions mainly for family and friends I certainly welcome anyone else who is interested. I hope you enjoy the photos and descriptions, however, I ask that any written comments you make please keep them polite or constructive--there's enough negativity in the world.

I've got the travel bug thanks to Dad and his job with USAID which meant my sister and I grew up in Southeast Asia and a brief stint in Eygpt--definitely Global Nomads.

The job and itchy feet, however, means I'm very rarely at home. The biggest complaint from friends and family is my infrequent emails to them.

So it is for them that I'm dedicating my Flickr page. I hope that at least with my photos you all can see where I am and what I'm doing--as the saying goes a picture is worth a thousands words! (So what if I cheat and add large captions.)

Hope this makes up a little bit for my lack of correspondence. Enjoy!
