Started shooting with a Kodak Instamatic in my junior school days, then got a Zenith E in the seventies, and using it, got a front cover in BBC Wildlife Magazine of a green tree frog (background was my school trousers!) when I was 16.

Since then, retained wildlife/animal interest, but moved into news events and features as well.

Was Picture Editor at a large UK news and photo agency for many years, leaving in Feb 2012. Now a freelance media and PR photographer, with pictures having been published in every UK national daily and Sunday paper over the past 30 years....with a good sprinkling of front pages.
