I have always enjoyed taking photographs and have a facination for the capture of that fraction of a second in space and time. That instant frozen forever, a treasured family moment, an amazing sunset or a stunning landscape. The power of a photograph to bring a fuzzy memory back into sharp focus again is priceless. My family and friends always tease me about carrying a camera with me wherever I go but you never know do you when a great photo opportunity will present itself. I have always considered myself to be a competent photographer but looking at the amazing photographs that other flickr members have uploaded I realize that I have alot to learn.
