My name is Chris and I live in San Francisco, CA with my wife Hiroko and my cat Whitey. I also happen to work in San Francisco writing web applications and other useful bits of software. My current day job is with Mindjet who makes mindmapping software.

From my first camera, an old twin lens reflex, to the latest digital equipment, I try to capture my surroundings in ways that are compelling and novel in their views yet familiar and inviting. I am lucky enough to live in San Francisco, probably one of the most photogenic cities in the world, so I have a wide variety of interesting subjects.
