About me: A love for design, photography and volunteering led me to a diverse and unique marketing career. I believe in the merits of integrity, teamwork and a 'can do' attitude. Please view my online resume via LinkedIn or via Indeed.

 

I've helped to raise millions of dollars and lots of earned media for non-profit organizations. I started out at the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee as a subcontracted newspaper layout artist and left the organization as the Director of Communications. During my time at ShelterBox USA, the organization grew from a four man office into a national organization, spread across the country.

 

Here are many of the skillsets I offer as well as corresponding links to various assets that demonstrate my work:

 

Desktop Publishing

Serving as a newspaper layout artist and working in disaster communications has taught me the power of the deadline. I am fluent with the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere, as well as Microsoft Office. My experience includes everything from annual reports to medical documents to packaging design to vehicle wraps. Examples of my work may be found in my design album.

Web Administration

Experience with many different platforms and vendors including HTML, Wordpress, Drupal, Blogger, Shulcloud, Weebly, Wix, etc. Oversight of social media strategy and campaign execution with success in organic & paid growth. Analytics in all of the above.

 

Team Management

Oversight of small teams including performance analysis and one-on-one communications.

 

Public Relations

Experience with Cision PR platform and pitching media outlets at a national and regional level including ABC World News Tonight, CNN, Fox News, The Weather Channel and USA Today.

 

Promotion

Social media strategy and execution. Online SEO and organic marketing strategies. Media advertising with TV, radio, newspaper, billboards, and celebrity events. Traditional marketing including: apparel, tickets, stickers, and bus wraps. Additional experience with trade show development and production.

 

Software

Extensive experience with many Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premiere; Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook. and PowerPoint; Google products including Gmail, Blogger, Drive, Docs, Analytics, Adwords, Maps, and YouTube; Windows and iOS.

Safety and security training and travel vaccinations. Experience with international travel, onsite logistics and photo/video capture.

Bonnaroo Chris is a brand created out of love for the Bonnaroo Music Festival and a desire to document to concert experiences and fellow concert attendees. By 2013, thousands of people were actively looking for Bonnaroo kids each year and website views still average 100,000 annually.

 

ONETrack International

Volunteer for this international charity with a focus of providing support in developing countries during the Global Orphan Crisis.

 

ShelterBox

Volunteer for this international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter to families displaced by disaster or conflict.
