I’ve been passionate about photography for many years, and as you can see from my Flickr archive, my work reflects a long period of experimentation rather than a single, fixed style. Over time, I’ve explored different subjects, formats, and techniques, wandering through landscape and street, portraiture and abstract detail, testing film alongside digital, playing with natural light in all its moods, and every detour has been a lesson in seeing. These varied approaches haven’t just built technical skill; they’ve helped me understand what truly resonates with me, what stories I want to tell, and what I want to express through my images. Every frame, whether successful or a quiet learning curve, has brought me closer to my own voice.

More recently, I’ve been moving into strobe lighting and developing a small home studio setup, and this shift has really started to come together for me in ways I hadn’t quite anticipated. Working with controlled light and a dedicated, focused space has been transformative. Where before I worked with whatever light the day gave me, now I shape it: I decide the hardness and softness, the direction and depth, the gentle glow or the sharp, dramatic edge. This control has allowed me to be far more intentional not just about composition, but about mood, atmosphere, and the very quality of light itself. I can refine every detail, guide the viewer’s eye exactly where I want it, and craft images that match the vision I carry in my mind.

I’m beginning to see a clearer, more defined direction in my work one that feels both natural and excitingly new. While my style is still evolving, and I know I’ll keep learning and adapting as I go, this move into studio-based and strobe-driven photography is helping me grow into a more confident, focused, and purposeful photographer. It feels less like a departure from everything that came before, and more like all those years of exploration finally finding their home: the curiosity remains, the love of discovery is as strong as ever, but now I have the tools and the vision to pursue it with greater clarity, consistency, and conviction. This is just the beginning, and I’m eager to see where this path leads next.
