Born and raised on the beautiful island of O'ahu, I now reside in Alameda, California with my awesome boyfriend. I love great coffee, GOOD new music, fun reads, SHOES, bags, and of course, YARN =) .

My romance with knitting and crocheting began years ago at the age of 10. I would watch my grandmother for hours, as she worked the yarn and designed afghans and covers. My cousin Heather & I would sit and knit. Imagine that! Two young girls knitting away! hehe. Heather was actually the person responsible for my nickname, Chongabelle! Gotta give her credit!

Although I have neglected my needles for quite some time, my passion to create has never faded. I adore cute ribbons, and bright, vibrant colors, which I try to incorporate into my work as much as possible.
