Amy, a young woman in her twenties, lives from day to day as a streetwalker in San Francisco. Amy’s entire world revolves around her young daughter, Andy, who she treasures more than anything..

Just as Amy feels that her life will be trapped forever in an endless cycle of repression, Ajay, a young man from India, stumbles into her life. Ajay has come to America to become a student and live his life to his full potential. While working as a taxi driver on the streets of San Francisco, he meets Amy and her daughter.

Ajay’s goals change drastically as he falls in love with both Amy and her daughter. He proposes to Amy and together they plan a new life. Just as everything seems to be going well, Amy receives startling news that changes everything for all of them. Ajay and Amy are forced to face a frightening reality while fighting for the love of each other and Andy.
