.. I am a charter member of the International Freelance Photographer's Organization (IFPO-76941), the National Society of Artists and the Lone Star Artists Guild...my works have received multiple awards in both local and national art shows.
On Feb.26, 2014, I was featured on a segment of "Great Day Houston", KHOU-TV, channel 11, with Emmy award winning host Deborah Duncan. I was invited back to appear on the show again in March 2015. I opened the show in my cowboy saturday night tub with one of my poems and at subsequent times throughout the program read snippets. During the interview portion, many of my western photos were shown to the live and broadcast audience.
I was invited as guest poet on Cowboy Stage Houston Rodeo appearing with cowboy entertainers Austin Anderson And Buck Rheams and others in 2011.. In may 2015 I opened for singer Donna B the Ebony Cowgirl at Butler Longhorn Museum, League City, Texas. I have read and discussed my poems at schools and at the famous Butler Longhorn Museum in League City, Texas
(my book is featured in the museum gift shop)
As of October, 2016, a number of my photoart posters and poems may be seen and purchased at the beautiful "Tea House Under the Oaks" in the historic E.Main street area of League City, Texas (Hwy 518 east of I-45 South)
I use this stream to gauge interest in various images, some of which I will print and sell. That is why I am in so many groups for feed back. Ron is an amazing professional, we feel in his work that he is very skilled, experient and he use to put his hearth in his pictures. Somebody said once:" Photography is to Draw with light" but talking about Ron is more: is to put the emotion on it!! We can say also, Ron and Carol are amazing as friends because they have the real good feelings for all the people, and of course because their voluntary work to help all the kind of people to know the Great Hope to te future!!
