Just take photos for fun, usually with a cat in somewhere!

My 'garden' is an abandoned orchard, many years old & bordering on woods and fields that attracts many birds and animals.....even with my four cats around! Most of the bird photos were taken in the garden.(usually with Rolly sitting on my knee!)

   

  

Candy, the only cat I have had since she was a kitten. She's 15 years old, and can be a bit unpredictable, but who can blame her, she's the only female!

 

Rolly, turned up one evening wanting food! I think he's from the farm up the road, but no-one claimed him. Been here for 5 years now. He likes to think he's boss, but he's scared of Candy! He has short legs & can't climb trees!

 

 

Lovely old Max walked 3 miles along a busy road, climbed through my cat flap & went to sleep in a chair. I found who he 'belonged' to (he had been sleeping on top of a dustbin) & returned him, only for him to repeat the journey 3 days running until by mutual agreement we decided he should stay (on Christmas Day) He has lived here for 4 years & never goes far now. He has arthritic legs, a missing tooth and his head twitches occasionally. He just wants a quiet life.

  

   

Whiskers, another stray, first arrived in my garden April 07, and by October he was living with us. (Took a while......Rolly didn't like him!) This was an early photo. He used to sit here & stare at the house and the other cats. I was going to take him to a cats home....but they were all full! Oh well, just had to keep him then ; )
