The human eye has 266 unidentifiable characteristics and is the most data-rich physical structure on the body. There's only a 1 in 10^75 chance that two people's irises will match. In the retina, there are 120 million rods and 7 million cones. The rods accomplish night vision, dim vision, and peripheral vision, while the cones are responsible for color and detail perception. Each eye has 1 million nerve fibers that electrically connect the photoreceptors to the visual center of the brain. Since there are 10 million or more cells interacting in complex ways, it would take a minimum of 100 years of crayon time to simulate what takes place in your eye many times per second. It's faster than any supercomputer currently in existence on the planet.
