My name is Karoline and I'm the mastermind behind Chiikake Shop. The name Chiikake was coined by my little sister. Chii for older sister in our Vietnamese language, K for Karoline, and [c]ake because there is nothing like a slice of cake to cure a gloomy day.

I'm just a girl who was stuck in school for way too long (years still in counting) and for too many hours at a time. Art is the way my mind escapes the formulas and terminologies it could barely comprehend and return to the world of its own. For a few hours of a day, my mind wanders in its fantastically colorful world, hangs out with adorably monstrous creatures and dances under colored rain. My inspiration comes from broad range of sources: from TV shows to college lectures to people I simply met on the street.

Chiikake Shop contains the products of these few but fantastic trips. Prepared to be wooed by adorable creatures and quirky figurines, but remember, whatever you do, be very aware of sneaky bunnies.

The other thing we're pretty big about around here is ♥ of all forms. Let my skills and imagination help you celebrate your significant other, your love ones, and yourself. I try to stock my shop with at least one thing that will generate an "A-ha" moment in someone's day, but if yours isn’t there, I would gladly fulfill a request.
