I became addicted to photography by chance after going on work placement at school. I wanted to be a journalist but got put in the photography department.

I was 15 at the time and a lot of what was going on was foreign to me, but locking yourself in a pitch black room and trying to load a film onto a spool was so frustrating but fun at the same time got me hooked.

Flickr was something else that I found purely by chance and i've been addicted to this ever since as well. I took on the dreaded 365 within a few weeks of finding flickr and this only made my passion for photography greater. Although it's one of the hardest things i've ever commited myself to it's given me so much and the people on here are amazing beyond compare.

Flickr, and the people on it keep me on my toes and push me to be better at the thing I love everyday.
