A good two years has gone by since I first picked up my first DSLR. A humble yet capable (and fun) Nikon D50. I love that little baby, and I wish I kept it with me.

Had a chance to use the D70s (almost as good - image-wise as the D50) and enjoyed the much vaunted Nikon CLS wireless flash system. When the D200 and the D80 came out, I went all-hog and bought them both! And now I'm happily stuck with two amazing cameras!

When I first started, photography was a happy experiment... What if I do this? What if I do that? What happens if the white balance is such? What if I try this lens to do this or that... A happy yet expensive experiment! Part of the fun then was seeking out lenses, purchasing them, pushing them to their limits, keeping them if they're worth it, selling them if they were worthless!

Here's a hit list of ALL the lenses I've owned:

Nikon AF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G dx

Nikon AF-S 18-70mm f/3.5-4G dx

Nikon AF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G dx VR

Nikon AF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6

Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G VR

Nikon AF 70-300 mm f/4-5.6G

Nikon 50mm f/1.8

Nikon 85mm f/1.8 (Stolen once)

Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 VR

Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8

Tokina 28-70mm f/2.8 Pro (soft!)

Tokina 12-24mm f/4 DX (weird color cast sometimes)

Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Dii (highly recommended!)

Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 HSM

Sigma 28mm f/1.8 (back focus problem, but was great with my D50)

Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 HSM (big mistake for me to sell it)

Truth be told, I had as much fun checking out the lenses as actually shooting!

Like I said earlier, it was a happy and expensive experiment.

Food, events, fashion, nude, landscape, sports, products etc.. they were all fun to do! The challenge of natural light, the technical aspect of studio lighting... all of em' fun and cool!

So please, take your time, enjoy the sights that is presented here. Feel free to comment, grab or fave.

Add me as a contact, okay? :-)

Cheers!

I love the beautiful photos that he takes. I have to say, he is very talented photographic enthusiast, and very few 'newbies' can achieve his level. I guess he is a good judge of colours in post processing. His photos always have that kind of vivid colours that I just enjoy looking at them. And each of his food photo… Read more
