For me, photography isn't only about taking a picture. It's also about:

Capturing the perfect moment: Being at the right place, and at the right time makes all the difference. This is especially true of working with children, where that unposed expression would be cherished for years to come.

Capturing the unimagined: No photograph is ordinary. Often, looking at things from a new perspective, an alternate dimension, the odd angle, or different light makes even the mundane special.

Capturing the spirit: A photograph is not just about recording the event. It needs to tell the thousand-word story. It needs to express the mood of the moment; the gaiety of the wedding, the exuberance of the party, the sombreness of the ritual.

I don't just take photographs. I capture life.
