Hi, I'm Chef Stacy, a Private Chef and Co-Owner of Guaranteed GF. I offer many of the services that come to mind when you hear the term "Private Chef"; I regularly teach private and small group hands-on cooking classes, I prepare custom meal plans for busy professionals as well as families, and have a Pied-à-terre service. I also teach and conduct demonstrations for an internationally recognized retail leader known for high-end products: Williams-Sonoma, and in addition, I offer something few others can; nearly 25 years of hands-on day to day experience with food allergies.

 

I specialize in Gluten Free, Allergy Friendly and other special needs diets. My success is that the food and confections I create not only pass as "the real" thing, but will leave all your guests looking for seconds! No one will ever feel left out or that they are going out because of even the most unusual or severe food allergy, intolerance or medically necessary diet.

 

Since the beginning of time humans have "broken bread" together and I think that is still one of the most important things we do in life. I want everyone to come together around the table without being worried about their special food needs; I want them to concentrate on enjoying the time they spend with each other; making memories.

 

So when I say I bring people together around the table - I don't say it lightly - it's part of my mission and my approach to life. I've raised a son with a severe food allergies and I have celiac disease. My son's long-time girlfriend and hopefully, future daughter-in-law is a juvenile diabetic. What I've learned is that we all want good tasting food, and ideally we want to enjoy the same food as everyone else. Everything I prepare has to be gluten free so I can safely taste it while I'm preparing it. The fact that most of my clients are NOT gluten free says more than anything else, that what I cook and bake simply tastes great. I enjoying making most everything from scratch and that freshness is what people respond to, and that it happens to be celiac safe is a bonus.
